Math 2 - two days
The Mathematics 2 crash course is a two day course from 9:00 to 16:00 on the 26rd and 27h of April which provides the student with the tools necessary to tackle many engineering oriented mathematical problems. The course includes two teaching days in person, a booklet with condensed information about all the covered topics, as well as more preparation exercises to be used at home. The topics covered during this crash course include:
Homogeneous and Inhomogeneous differential equations
Systems of differential equations
Transfer functions
Infinite series, power series
Stability
Fourier transforms
During the first day, the tutors will show how to solve by hand simple exercises which cover all subjects of the crash course. The student will gain insight on how to approach each question, as well as tips to speed up the solving process.
The second day focuses on typical exam exercises with the inclusion of different topics mixed together in the exercises. The student will be given the steps to understanding and solving each exercise seen in the crash course.
